4 brothers and families John, Moses, Joseph and James immigrated to cecil County, Maryland, America about 1744. I believe they came from faughanvale Parish, County Derry. I also b;lieve they were desc. of John Cochran who with younggrown sons
Hugh, John Jr. and James immigrated from fermois, near Paisley, Renfrew County, Scotland to Carrakeel, Clondermot Parish, Co. Derry in 1575.
These brothers I'm sure are desc. of Hugh thru his son Hugh Kittough who was probably the brothers' great-grandfather. Their fathers's anme was probably John; gf. may be John of Faughanvale townland Faughanvale Parish who left a will in 1714. |
