MCCOMB  Londonderry 1914  2003-04-03  Gareth McComb
Looking for Daniel and Hugh McComb in Londonderry prior to World War 1. Hugh was my Grandfather and Daniel his Brother.
Hugh died at the battle of Messines. They were born at the COI rectory in Moville. Their father was the COI Gardener. Their Father was Hugh also and their mother was Margaret. My grandfather Hugh was a gardener to Sir Basil McFarland.
My Grandfather joined the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers (the Derry's) and was killed at the battle of Messines in June 1917. I believe Daniel also served with them but was not killed. My Grandmother was Elizabeth Robb from Carrigans County Donegal and they had two children Samuel ( my father) and Martha who did not marry.

Any record of Daniel would be appreciated
